Alex started playing bass guitar at the age of 13, influenced by new wave bands of the 80's, started his musical career gigging with original bands, covers bands and session work. In the 90's Alex studied at the Musicians Institute in London, and after graduating was offered a teaching job there where he got to play with some top visiting players from around the world inc Chad Smith (Chili Peppers) Phil Campbell (Motörhead) Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson) to name a few. Alex's latest venture is The Style Councillors
